Hi there, I'm Joosep.
Product designer who works end-to-end — from research and framing the problem to designing the system and building the prototype in code. I'm drawn to complex, rule-heavy products and the work of making them feel simple.
Over 5+ years I've shipped products used by 100k+ people, scaled a single application flow across six products, and formalised a design system into a component library. Lately I prototype with code and AI-assisted workflows, so ideas can be clicked through rather than just looked at.
Based in Tartu, Estonia. For 5 years I also taught as Associate Lecturer at the Estonian Academy of Arts, mentoring the next generation of product designers and sharpening my own thinking in the process.
When I'm not designing:
- — I'm hiking in nature.
- — Riding my bicycle around Tartu.
- — 3D modeling/printing practical stuff.
- — Taking dancing breaks at my desk to the selected music.
